Training Programs

 

This is to inform all First Responders that the National Incident Management System (NIMS)-related training is one of the important elements that “WE” as a Territory of the United States entity MUST complete. All response personnel that have a role in any emergency response and recovery responsibilities to natural or man-made disaster must complete the NIMS training based on their emergency support function.

 

The successful implementation of NIMS depends on the participation and integration of all State, Territorial, local and community-based organization, including public, non-profit and private organizations that may have a role in preparing for or responding to an incident.

 

The following are the NIMS Training Guidelines (FEMA Independent Study Program):

 

Target Audience: Federal/State/Local/Private Sector & Non-governmental personnel to include:

Entry-level first responders, disaster workers,                       IS-700
